Subject:EU officials become trademarks in Moldova
Security:Public

Romano Prodi jeans - how ironic. I recently saw this girl on public transport in chisinau wearing jeans which had the trademark 'Romano Prodi' (most likely made in Turkey). The first political jeans I've seen in my life. I am curios if our 'Communist' president is aware of the political merchandize on the clothes market?! Even if he was, and even if he is opposed to western political principles, he has nothing to fear because, sadly, that girl and many other young people have no idea who Romano Prodi is or what the EU is (beside the fact that their parents earn bigger salaries in Italy and they have more money to spend on alcohol and entertainment and CLOTHES).

I live on the same street as Thom Yorke (Radiohead), who would've thought?????!!!!!! I'm like their biggest fan!!!! Or definitely was, when I was 16. Their music and lyrics are a big part of my teenagehood in the U.S.
I saw him today walking on my street 3 times already. One time i walked right past him. I don't have the guts to go talk to him though. I don't want to invade his privacy (i mean, come on, who goes living in Oxford and wants to have privacy), but i noticed that other people in Oxford don't get the same psycho, maniac, ecstatic reactions the same way as I do when he passes by.

he makes me smile when i see him. I realize how unpredictably "wicked" life is.

Purposeful coincidences or accidental karma:

my fate has deeply rooted Czech and everything that comes with that word: culture, literature, Prague, music, graphic design, people, art, in my life and at this moment i cannot imagine my life evolving in the way that it has evolved without having been exposed to the beauty of that small bohemian country.

- Milan Kundera (favorite writer) - "Immortality" my life's greatest inspiration
- Prague and Vilemov - the most beautiful places i've seen
- Ladislav Sutnar - the man who understands minimalism in its overwhelming shapes and aspects
- Vit Svec Trio - the new jazz band I discovered last night at the iv edition of Ethno-jazz festival in Chisinau. www.vitsvectrio.com/ www.arta.cz
- Becherovca and Pilsner beer
- Charles bridge with all kinds of performing artists on it

(to be continued...)

At 12:00 (10 days till i leave for OX)i got really hungry, took my bag and went to have soup. i was too lazy to wait for anyone else so i went by myself to discover one more time the power of coincidences. during my lunch i met two very interesting young people a girl from singapore and a guy from england, who's a dentist in exeter.

Evaluation on the lucky meeting: the person from england was actually nice - i guess not all brits are cold and inaccessible - a stereotype that has been intensively promoted so far + i got some inside tips on how to approach the inhabitants of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Fact: surfing is developed in Exeter(hmmm???!!!!). they've got the waaaaves.

You scored as Idealist.

Idealism centers around the belief that we are moving towards something greater. An odd mix of evolutionist and spiritualist, you see the divine within ourselves, waiting to emerge over time. Many religious traditions express how the divine spirit lost its identity, thus creating our world of turmoil, but in time it will find itself and all things will again become one.

Cultural Creative 69%
Idealist 69%
Postmodernist 69%
Romanticist 69%
Modernist 63%
Existentialist 50%
Fundamentalist 44%
Materialist 38%

god was very generous to me in the past couple of weeks. he decided to grow breasts on my flat chestland. what joy...

so, i decided to capitalize my new acquisition today (an extra motive was the buying a new sensual bra), i wore a big cleavage shirt this morning. as i was walking down the street a man was coming straight at me, stopped in my face, placed his eyes on my breasts and said "how sexy" and walked away. for a very short moment i couldn't move, then started laughing.

a single thought for tonight. i am very close-minded and this makes me sad. but at the same time, i am not sure i want to change. sexual liberalism manifested through what i think is 100% pure perversity makes me sick. if i had to choose between the 2, i would stay sad and close-minded.

I come to understand that trials are given to us to realize life's "passer-by" character.
Life should be experienced with no strings attached.

I like myself. I learned 2 things today: 1 positive and 1 negative

+ i am starting to accept myself with all my weirdnesses and positive traits. i am brave. i love living, despite being aware of the periodically threatening routine. i have humour and i will accomplish whatever i set my heart on.

- i have intellectual outbursts sometimes that manifest themselves through arrogance. I am afraid of becoming a snob. My intollerance sprinkles thorns on my bright life path. I declare water war to my demons!

Every morning i go to work by bus. I like the bus for it has one great influence on my concentration - it definitely enhances it - so i read as much as i can! Sometimes, the time on the bus passes by too fast and I remain thirsty for the book i'm reading. On the Moldovan magic bus - magic, coz it has electric straps, our buses (trolleybuses) look like trams, but no rails to go on, you get a ticket. it has 6 numbers. the superstition says that if the sum of the first 3 digits equals the sum of the last 3 digits, then it's a lucky ticket.
The lady that sat next to me today, checked her ticket when she got it to see if it was lucky .

O generation of the thoroughly smug
and thoroughly uncomfortable,
I have seen fishermen picnicking in the sun,
I have seen them with untidy families,
I have seen their smiles full of teeth
and heard ungainly laughter.
And I am happier than you are,
And they were happier than I am;
And the fish swim in the lake
and do not even own clothing.

We are the music-makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
And sitting by desolate streams.
World-losers and world-forsakers,
Upon whom the pale moon gleams;
Yet we are the movers and shakers,
Of the world forever, it seems.

With wonderful deathless ditties
We build up the world's great cities,
And out of a fabulous story
We fashion an empire's glory:
One man with a dream, at pleasure,
Shall go forth and conquer a crown;
And three with a new song's measure
Can trample an empire down.

We, in the ages lying
In the buried past of the earth,
Built Nineveh with our sighing,
And Babel itself with our mirth;
And o'erthrew them with prophesying
To the old of the new world's worth;
For each age is a dream that is dying,
Or one that is coming to birth.

Subject:tonight, tonight
Security:Public

two things for tonight:

1. this morning i saw this commericial on tv, better yet, heard it while i was in the bathroom brushing my teeth (i've seen it quite a few times, but obviously it has a weak effect on the viewers since i didn't pay attention and i only noticed the most important element of it this morning). the commercial regarded the 5 year anniversary of one of the 2 cellphones companies in Moldova - moldcell - and the line that draw my attention was "thank you for being yourselves". while, i strive to be myself, the superficiality of this line or the understanding of "being him/herself" in the average person's mind makes it 'kitsch'. what is so great about being yourself when most of the qualities you have are bad or disliked by others? do we want everyone to be themselves, or do we want them to be what we imagine them to be?

2. i am shocked and astonished. i am so anxious to start knowing people, even though that comes with a certain amount of risk - knowing people too well doesn't leave any room for mystery and romance.

I don't want anything from my university. It has never helped me in all 4 years. It has taught me almost nothing and it has only made it more difficult for me to break through.
I do not owe the university the honor to allow it give me my diploma officially at the event.
